Traveling to Kyoto Riverview House Kyoraku from Kansai International Airport is convenient and straightforward, whether you choose a taxi service or drive your own vehicle. The journey typically takes around 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on traffic.

  • By Taxi: Simply follow the signs to the designated taxi area at the airport. Taxis are readily available, and the ride will provide a comfortable and direct route to your destination. However, please note that this option can be quite expensive

  • By Personal Vehicle: If you’re driving, take the Kansai Airport Access Road to the Meishin Expressway. Follow signs for Kyoto and exit at the Kyoto-minami IC. From there, navigate to your accommodation using a GPS or navigation app for a seamless trip.

By Train

Traveling to Kyoto Riverview House Kyoraku from Kansai International Airport by train is an efficient and cost-effective option. The journey typically takes around 1.5 hours.

  • JR Haruka Limited Express Train: The JR Haruka trains run frequently throughout the day, ensuring that travelers can find a convenient departure time. The journey from Kansai Airport to Kyoto takes about 75 minutes, while the ride to Osaka is approximately 50 minutes.

  • The JR Rapid Train service is a convenient and economical option for traveling from Kansai International Airport (KIX) to Kyoto. This train line offers a straightforward route to Osaka and from there, need to take another train that connects passengers to the heart of Kyoto.

  • Nankai Airport Line: There are several transfers along the way to Kyoto but this is the most inexpensive option.

By Bus

At Kansai Airport, you can catch limousine buses at bus stop 8 on the first floor of Terminal 1 and at bus stop 1 in Terminal 2. Ticket counters are located near these bus stops where you can purchase your tickets. Please note that tickets cannot be reserved, and boarding is available on a first-come, first-served basis. For your convenience, the Kansai Airport website provides maps for the bus stops at both terminals.

What time is the check in and check out?

You can check in anytime after 15:00 and check out by 10:00

What should I do if I am late for the check in time?

If you plan to arrive after 8:00 PM, please call or email us in advance. While our front desk is open 24 hours, you may be asked to follow a self-check-in procedure, which we will send on your check-in day. If we do not hear from you and you have not arrived by midnight, your reservation may be cancelled.

Can checkout time be extended?

Although the standard checkout time is 10:00 a.m., you may opt to extend this time by paying an additional fee. Please contact the front desk in advance for extensions. Also, be aware that we may not be able to accommodate your extension request if our rooms are fully booked. We appreciate your understanding in this regard.

Can I send my luggage to the hotel prior to my arrival?

Yes, please include your reservation name and check-in date on the slip. We also offer hassle-free forwarding to your next hotel or the airport, as well as luggage storage after check-out. Feel free to stop by the front desk anytime.
